Sponsor a Student Program – Community Support for Youth Training

At Winter Haven Martial Arts Academy, we believe that every child should have access to the confidence, discipline, and personal growth that comes through martial arts training. We know that some families in our community may need financial assistance, which is why we are introducing our Sponsor a Student Program.

This program allows individuals and local businesses to sponsor part or all of a student’s membership fees so that a child can train in Jiu-Jitsu and Judo, even if their family is not currently able to cover the full cost.

What Sponsorship Means

This is not a charity or nonprofit program. Winter Haven Martial Arts Academy is a for-profit business. Sponsorship funds are used directly to cover a specific student’s membership tuition, just as if their family were paying for it.

Your sponsorship supports a child by giving them access to classes, where they can learn:

• Confidence

• Discipline

• Respect

• Focus

• Self-defense

• Healthy habits

• Anti-bullying skills

This is an opportunity to help a child grow, not through a donation to the gym, but by funding their participation directly.

How It Works

• You choose whether to sponsor full or partial monthly tuition for a student.

• We match your sponsorship with a student who has applied for assistance.

• Sponsorship funds are applied directly toward that student’s membership fees, allowing them to attend classes regularly.

There is no minimum time commitment — even one month of support makes a difference.

Who You Are Helping

The students selected for sponsorship:

• Show positive attitudes

• Are committed to training

• Come from families currently working through financial hardship

Some are overcoming shyness or anxiety. Some are learning to control emotions and build confidence.Some simply need a safe, structured community environment.

Your sponsorship helps them access that environment.

Business Sponsor Recognition

Local businesses that choose to sponsor may request recognition inside the academy (we will play your business card on TV and in our online community posts during the time of active sponsorship.This is a thank-you, not a paid advertising program.
